Abstracts (500 to 1,000 words; no figures) of proposed papers should be submitted as soon as possible but no later than the abstract submission date (see
important dates below). Authors will be notified of acceptance by the Conference Editors. Final acceptance will be based upon review of the full length paper which must be received before the full paper deadline.
Abstracts should be submitted using the Civil-Comp Manuscript Manager (CCMM). Please submit your abstract to the stream "RW2014". If you have access credentials for CCMM, please log in as usual. If not, please follow the "New user" link on the CCMM login page to create a new account. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the CCMM interface as all communication regarding your conference paper will be through CCMM.
The conference has a strict "No Paper - No Podium" rule (i.e. conference presentations can only be made if they have a corresponding accepted paper in the proceedings).
Only TWO contributed papers will be allowed for each conference participant. If you wish to submit more than two papers, you must register a co-author.
The Conference Editor is Dr J. Pombo (IDMEC-IST, Lisbon, Portugal). Dr Pombo can be contacted through CCMM once your abstract has been submitted. For general enquiries please contact railways2014 AT civil-comp.com
After acceptance of your abstract, you may prepare the full length paper for publication in the Conference Proceedings. Instructions on formatting your paper and how to send it to the Conference Editors can be found on the
Paper Submission page. Please follow the instructions on this page carefully.
