Session Aims and Scope
Recent development of modern transportation systems leads to new problems that need to be studied for better construction of safe transport. The detailed analysis of structures dynamic behaviour should allow the development of effective methods for prevention of surroundings against noise and vibrations generated by vehicles. The science did not answer satisfactorily for many questions regarding dynamic response of train and road systems, especially in the subject of vibration mitigation. Therefore appropriate modelling approaches, along with numerical simulations and measurements, are needed for representation of real constructions dynamic phenomena and better prediction of structures behaviour.

The session is addressed to academic scientists and industry researchers to bring together interdisciplinary ideas related to physical problems appearing in systems subjected to moving loads.
