Special Session Call for Papers:
Special Session: CC2015-17
Dynamic Stability of Structural Systems
Session Aims and Scope
The vibrations of structural elements due to dynamic forces is a main issue involving many fields of engineering and technology, such as aerospace, automotive, marine as well as civil applications. In this special session contributions dealing with dynamic stability of beams, plates, frames, shells or other structural system are welcome. Notably, some of the encouraged topics are: dynamic stability of composites, of functionally graded systems, rotating elements, systems subjected to follower forces, cracked systems, dumped systems, just to mention some. The list is not exhaustive and may include any other issue encountered in dynamics of structural or mechanical systems. The approach may be experimental, theoretical or numerical (Finite elements) and must be innovative enough to bring new advances in this discipline to this problem which takes origin in its formalism in the Russian school (V.V. Bolotin). Novelty in the contributions may come in the chosen approach or in the study itself, which may arise from mechanics, aerospace or civil engineering. Dynamic stability crosses many branches of engineering and in this sense the special session is expected to bring together researchers and experts from various fields, sharing the current state of art and developments (best effective approach, improved technical solutions for structural and non-structural components).
For specific questions regarding the scope of this session please contact the organiser:

Please note that papers that are found to fall outside the scope of this session may be considered for other sessions.

Abstract Submission
To submit abstracts for this special session, please follow the normal abstract submission procedure but please select "CC2015-S17" when asked "Is this paper part of a special session?"
