Soft computing technology includes aspects of computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, evolutionary based methods and tools. Most frequently, soft computing technology methods are employed on complex and computationally intensive problems that have traditionally proved intractable for conventional analysis methods.

Young Researcher Best Paper Competition

Conference Proceedings
The conference proceedings, which will be available on the first day of the conference, will be published by Civil-Comp Press. Authors should check the important dates concerning registration and hotel bookings.
Journal Special Issues
Authors may submit extended and improved versions of their papers for review and possible publication in the conference special issues of Computers & Structures (CAS) (Elsevier), Advances in Engineering Software (ADES) (Elsevier) and the International Journal of Railway Technology (IJRT) (Saxe-Coburg Publications). The review process will decide in which journal the accepted paper will be published. The details of the submission procedures and deadlines will be provided in the printed conference programme, as issued at the registration desk during the conference.
Conference Venue
The venue for the conference is the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University, Thákurova 7, 166 29 Praha 6, Czech Republic.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is 11km (15 minutes in a taxi) from Václav Havel Airport Prague. The nearest underground station (5 minutes walk) is Dejvicka on the green-A line.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to obtain the visa in good time. If you require a letter of invitation, you may contact the conference organisation.
