Conference Timetable
The conference will start at 17.00 on Tuesday 1st September 2015 with the opening session. The conference will close no later than 16.00 on Friday 4 September 2015.

The conference dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday 3 September.

Registration desk
The registration desk will be open 15.00-18.30 on Tuesday 1st September 2015; 8.15-17.00 on Wednesday and Thursday; and at 8.30-16.00 on Friday.
Presentation Facilities
The presentation time for contributed papers is 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for questions. Presentations will only be possible using data projectors (not OHP or 35mm slides).

There are two ways to deliver your presentation:

  • Prepare a PDF or Powerpoint presentation and take it with you on a USB memory stick. Presentation PCs and projectors will be available in each room. You will have the opportunity to copy your presentation onto the presentation PC during the break immediately preceding each session. Alternatively you can run your presentation directly from the memory stick.
  • Bring your own laptop and connect it to the projector in the presentation room. But please note that the delays from connecting your laptop and setting up may shorten your presentation time.

Please note that there will be NO 35mm slide projectors and NO overhead transparency projectors. Only PC-based presentations are allowed. If you have any questions regarding these presentation facilities, please contact conf AT

The venue for the conference is the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University, Thákurova 7, 166 29 Praha 6, Czech Republic.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is 11km (15 minutes in a taxi) from Václav Havel Airport Prague. The nearest underground station (5 minutes walk) is Dejvicka on the green-A line. The route from the underground station to the Faculty of Civil Engineering can be seen on Google Maps: here

Please print this map and take it with you unless you have GPS on your phone. Please note the route you take will depend on which exit you take from the underground station.

Here is a sequence of photos taken when walking on a route north-west through the Czech Technical University Campus towards the Faculty of Civil Engineering Building. This route cuts across "Solinova" on the edge of the campus.

All presentations, lunches and coffee breaks will be at the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

Václav Havel Airport Prague (IATA: PRG, ICAO: LKPR) has flights to many european cities. The Faculty of Civil Engineering is 11km (15 minutes in a taxi) from Václav Havel Airport Prague. A taxi typically costs around 25-30 euros but the local currency is Czech Crowns.
