New Trends in the Simulation of Multi-Body Systems with Contact
organised by Ass. Prof. S. Dumont, Université de Picardie Jules Verne, France
and Prof. F. Lebon
Université de Provence, France
The purpose of this session is to bring together researchers who successfully develop techniques for solving Multi-Body Systems problems with contact in order to exchange ideas for improving the knowledge on the Simulation of Multi-Body Systems. Submissions presenting novel developments and critical reviews are invited for this session.
Main items:
- Time evolution: time stepping , event driven, adaptative methods.
- Time integration : explicit, implicit, Xfem, variational methods, convergence problems.
- Constitutive models : rigid, deformable, couplings.
- Contact detection methods.
Please note that papers that are found to fall outside the scope of
this session may be considered for other sessions.
