The main objective of this Special Session is to bring together researchers who develop methods for structural damage detection, location, and quantification using, among others, vibrational characteristics. These methods can integrate a broader structural health monitoring technique or be seen as a standalone technique.

Altough the main purpose is the presentation of numerical methods, numerical/experimental ones and applications of experimental techniques to damage detection are also welcomed.

Please note that papers that are found to fall outside the scope of this session may be considered for other sessions.
