The purpose of this session is to bring together researchers who successfully develop techniques for solving optimization problems (single and multi-objectives) using non-gradient methods such as: Evolutionary Computing , Genetic Algorithms, Simulated Annealing, Pattern Search, Tabu Search, Swarm Optimization, Ant Colonies, etc. Submissions presenting novel developments and critical reviews are invited for this session.

Please note that papers that are found to fall outside the scope of this session may be considered for other sessions.
