organised by Dr. L. Pallares and Prof. F.J. Pallares

Masonry is one the most common materials used in construction.
Recently, either the combination of masonry with new materials or the
use of non traditional construction techniques for masonry are
spreading its use in a variety of situations not considered before.
Numerical models are needed to simulate the behaviour of structures
made of masonry as one of their construction materials.
The main goal of this session is to show structural or material models
related to masonry, successfully used in predicting the response of
structures, either used in the design, assessment, rehabilitation, restoration or
retrofitted of structures, or laboratory experiments.
