Session Aims and Scope
The main objective of this Special Session is to share the latest development in theoretical and experimental investigations of structural health monitoring (SHM) methods and technologies. The scope of the special session includes (but is not limited to) damage diagnosis and prognosis, SHM sensor design and validation, smart structures and infrastructure, monitoring and assessment of aging structures, safety assessment by SHM, SHM strategy integrated with life-cycle management, verification and validation of SHM methods, and case study of SHM applications. Papers on investigations related to the theoretical development, experimental studies and practical applications of SHM techniques are particularly welcome.
For specific questions regarding the scope of this session please contact the organisers:
Please note that papers that are found to fall outside the scope of this session may be considered for other sessions.
To submit abstracts for this special session, please follow the normal abstract submission procedure but please select "CST2014-S04" when asked "Is this paper part of a special session?"
