Special Session
CST2014-S07
Damage Identification Methods
organized by
Professor J.V. Araujo dos Santos,
IDMEC/IST, Portugal (viriato AT ist.utl.pt);
Professor H.M. Lopes,
Instituto Politécnico do Porto, Portugal (hml AT isep.ipp.pt); and
Professor P. Moreno-García,
Universidad de Cádiz, Spain (pablo.morenogarcia AT uca.es).
Session Aims and Scope
The main objective of this Special Session is to bring together researchers who develop methods for structural damage detection, location, and quantification using, among others, vibrational characteristics. These methods can integrate a broader structural health monitoring technique or be seen as standalone techniques. Although the main purpose is the presentation of numerical methods, numerical/experimental ones and applications of experimental techniques to damage detection are also welcomed.
