The Twelfth International Conference
on Computational Structures Technology
2-5 September 2014
Numerical Simulation of Industrial Facilities under Earthquake Loading
organised by Dr.-Ing. C. Butenweg and Dipl.-Ing. J. Rosin
RWTH Aachen University, Germany
Session Aims and Scope
This session focuses on the interesting field of seismic plant engineering. With the respect to the specific conditions of the simulation and design of earthquake loaded industrial facilities papers are requested in the field of numerical simulation of primary structures as well as non-structural components as for example liquid storage tanks, silos, vessels and pipelines. We are happy to invite you to participate and to present your current research results within the thematic focus of the session. Prospective presenters are encouraged to submit proposals for papers that offer new research findings or theoretical contributions.
For specific questions regarding the scope of this session please contact the organisers:
Please note that papers that are found to fall outside the scope of this session may be considered for other sessions.
To submit abstracts for this special session, please follow the normal abstract submission procedure but please select "CST2014-S27" when asked "Is this paper part of a special session?"
