Systems for Engineering Education
organised by Dr M.S. Jaafar and Assoc. Prof. M.I. Saripan
Universiti Putra Malaysia
Session Aims and Scope
The implementation of engineering education requires a comprehensive process, starting from the development of a programme until the determination of students' attainments. There are a lot of elements: either at a programme-level or at the course-level that need to be monitored closely.

Having a system to administer and assist the implementation of engineering education could be useful to the university, faculty or department. The integration of all programme-level and course-level could provide a systematic monitoring of all individuals and cohorts, that can be utilize to achieve the programme educational objectives of the identified programme and assist the preparation of objective evidences for accreditation purposes.

This session opens the opportunity to all academics, administrators, programmers and related parties to share and discuss about the development of a system related to engineering education (offline or online), results and analysis extracted from the system, continual quality improvements and recent trends in engineering education. Paper related to the above aspects, as well as any paper that could contribute the advancement of engineering education are welcome for presentation in this special session.
